EduSolutionsKC, LLC specializes in providing consultation, advocacy and training to parents/guardians of children and youth with special needs in their quest for a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and other federal and state laws protecting children with disabilities.
Independent Educational Evaluations
We offer Independent Educational Evaluations on behalf of schools, families, and attorneys.
Key points about an independent evaluation at district expense:

"Independent":
The evaluator is not part of the school district staff, ensuring impartiality.

"At district expense":
The school district is required to pay for the evaluation, even if initiated by a parent.

Common reason for request:
Parents may request this if they believe the initial school evaluation was inaccurate or incomplete.
Advocate Representation
We provide clinically and academically-trained Advocates to represent client families throughout the IEP process.
We act on behalf of the family during the IEP coordination process and in IEP meetings.
Additionally, we leverage our connections with experienced Special Education attorneys in our community to provide access to expert advice and legal representation, if required.
