Our story begins with a vision to bridge the gaps in educational and therapeutic services, providing the support that children with diverse needs deserve. With a focus on collaboration, we work closely with families to unlock every child’s potential, offering a wide range of services such as ABA therapy, special education advocacy, tutoring, executive skills coaching, and more.

We believe in the power of partnership, not just with our clients, but with the schools and communities we serve. Our team of passionate and skilled professionals brings years of experience to the table, guiding children through their individual journeys of growth and success. From providing expert educational assessments to offering targeted therapy programs, EduSolutionsKC is here to ensure that every child thrives academically, socially, and behaviorally.

Meet the Founder

Charlotte Hawkins

Education Advocate,  & Consultant

Charlotte Hawkins is the Founder and President of EduSolutionsKC and brings more than 30 years of experience in special education, advocacy, and educational leadership.

Throughout her career, Charlotte has served in roles ranging from classroom teacher to special education administrator and director within both public and charter school systems. Her experience spans Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) through 12th grade and includes supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, social-emotional, executive functioning, and disability-related needs.

Charlotte specializes in special education evaluations, Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs), IEP and eligibility processes, Section 504 supports, behavioral and emotional programming, and parent advocacy. She is passionate about helping families better understand educational systems and ensuring that students receive appropriate, individualized support to succeed both in and beyond the classroom.

In addition to her professional background, Charlotte also brings the perspective of a parent who has personally navigated special education and disability-related systems. This lived experience provides her with a unique understanding of the emotional, educational, and practical challenges families often face when advocating for their children.

Known for her collaborative and solution-focused approach, Charlotte works alongside families and schools to build supportive educational plans that recognize each child’s strengths, needs, and potential.
