Meet Our Expert

Kara Orsini graduated from UW Whitewater with a degree in Social Work. Her journey into literacy intervention began when her youngest son was diagnosed with dyslexia, which led her to explore the science of reading. Inspired to make a difference, Kara pursued specialized training and became a certified Dyslexia Practitioner. She is passionate about helping children build strong reading skills and regain confidence in their learning.
She has experience working with children ages 6 to 14, both virtually and in-person at the Children’s Dyslexia Center in Milwaukee. She utilizes a multisensory, structured literacy program grounded in the Orton-Gillingham approach, with each session tailored to meet the individual needs of the learner.
Understanding how challenging learning can be for some children, she places a strong emphasis on building self-confidence through encouragement and empathy. Her goal is to create a supportive environment where every child feels seen, valued, and capable.
