Our story begins with a vision to bridge the gaps in educational and therapeutic services, providing the support that children with diverse needs deserve. With a focus on collaboration, we work closely with families to unlock every child’s potential, offering a wide range of services such as ABA therapy, special education advocacy, tutoring, executive skills coaching, and more.

Our team of passionate and skilled professionals brings years of experience to the table, guiding children through their individual journeys of growth and success. Charlotte Hawkins
Chief Executive Officer & Founder
Charlotte Hawkins is the founder & President of EduSolutionsKC, a local organization dedicated to empowering students, families, and schools through culturally responsive, targeted solutions.
With over 30 years of experience as a certified Special Services Teacher, Administrator and Advocate within both public and charter school systems, Charlotte has a deep understanding of the challenges families face in navigating educational systems.Driven by a passion for inclusive education, Charlotte started EduSolutionsKC to fill the gaps she witnessed in current educational and therapeutic systems. Her goal is to ensure that no child 'falls between the cracks' and that all students have access to the support they need to succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally. By offering tailored services and partnering with families, schools, and communities, Charlotte is committed to unlocking the potential in every child and creating lasting positive change.


Isabelle Alvarez
Marketing Manager,
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Isabelle is passionate about the importance of
early education and intervention for
children and their families.
Isabelle obtained a degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis emphasizing in Early Childhood Education with a minor in psychology. She provides experience in implementing individualized treatment plans, and assessment of skill sets for children in school and at home. for children and youth aged 1.5-13 years old.


Johni Lacore
Occupational Therapist
Johni is in her fourth year as a Certified and Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant. In the decade prior to becoming a COTA, she served as an AmeriCorps volunteer tutoring at an elementary school and working as a Kindergarten group leader at a Boys and Girls Club. She also served as a nanny, an assistant teacher in Montessori schools, a SPED paraprofessional, and a mentor for an adult with autism. She began her journey as a COTA working in acute care in the hospital setting but soon realized she wanted to go back to working with pediatrics. Outside of her work as a COTA, she is also a trained Death Doula and artist. Johni believes that you leave something of yourself at every meeting with another person, so it's important to lead with empathy, respect, and understanding.

This is Debbie's 39th year in education! After a fulfilling career in the public school system, I am retired and transitioned into the role of an educational diagnostician, allowing her to continue my passion for helping children.
Additionally,My work as an educational diagnostician gives me the opportunity to make a positive impact on students’ lives, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive!

Marci Baker
Certified Special Education Teacher
Marci has over 35 years of experience in the field of Special Education, Marci has served as a teacher in public, and charter schools.
Marci brings specialized expertise in life skills development for students with intellectual and autism disabilities. Marci is dedicated to helping students build essential skills that promote independence and success in their daily lives, ensuring they receive the tailored support they need to thrive in any learning environment.
